Sleep a lot, do sports, spend more time outdoors, do not be nervous, and never go to bed with makeup.

Everybody knows this list of good habits that can help us keep our youth for as long as possible. But there are a lot of unexpected habits and factors that can “have an aging impact” for us very seriously – see if you know about them!

Depression

Recent studies have shown that depression not only reduces the quality of life – it also accelerates the aging process of the brain.

Do not ignore the first signs of the disease; do not try to cope with willpower and always ask for help!

Ignoring  Sunscreen

It does not matter where do you go. You will spend the whole day at the beach or just run into the office – your skin needs permanent UV protection.

The sun’s rays are still the most significant factor causing the skin aging, and if you do not want to detect see early wrinkles, be sure to use a cream or lotion every day with a level of protection of at least 30 SPF also do not forget about hair protection.

So I don’t smoke at all, but when I drink, I can afford a cigarette or two. If this is about you, then we have bad news: tobacco contains more than 3800 chemical components that can cause significant harm to the skin.

At the same time, there is practically no difference, are you a smoker, or you are a passive smoker. And here’s the result: if you smoke one or two cigarettes at parties, your skin looks older than it could.

It is hard to believe, but it is so: our friends help us to stay young longer. As shown by several studies, people who have many friends tend to resist the influence of aging longer, especially for age-related cognitive changes.

So, no matter how tight your daily schedule is, don’t forget to bring meetings with your friends to it.

Coffee

Morning cup of coffee, a portion of caffeine in the middle of the day – coffee is a part of our lives, and a full participant in most social rituals.

But the problem is that black coffee reduces the level of dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA), a hormone that helps us fight aging. The problem is that its scale has been decreasing over the years, and the abuse of coffee  can even speed up the process.

Unexpected, right? Plastic straws for drinks are not only the ecologists’ nightmare (since they are usually made from the most “sustainable” plastic) – using them can make you look older than your age.

Constant muscle tension can cause the formation of early deep wrinkles around the lips, as well as the deepening of nasolabial folds.
